Hiding My Heart - lagu yang dinyanyikan ulang Adele di album "21" (2011) ini awalnya dinyanyikan oleh Brandi Carlile di album "The Story" (2007). lagu ini menceritakan seseorang yang bertemu dalam sebuah kecelakaan. lalu tiba-tiba orang tersebut pergi. dan orang yang ditinggal pergi itu berharap suatu saat mereka bertemu lagi. namun, ia tetap menghilang dan tak kunjung kembali. dan seumur hidup orang yang ditinggal pergi itu memendam perasaannya.
